Before launch day

Confirm the platform you actually own. Steam is the only storefront whose app ID (4126040), free-to-play flag, and Windows requirements are copied here from the live API. FunPlus says PlayStation 5 and Xbox players can already pre-order Advanced and Collector packs. Whether those packs are required to play the free client is not stated as a requirement on Steam (the Steam product is free).

What Steam says you will do first

The published loop is: explore Idyll, catch with Aniipods and traps, Twine to use creature skills, meet Pathfinders in a sky metropolis, and optionally join Egg Heist with two teammates. Weather and time of day change which Aniimo appear. That is the entire beginner loop that can be sourced without guessing tutorial order.

Starter Aniimo names and a recommended first biome are not stated on Steam. FunPlus’s “more than 200” figure is not a starter pick list.

Social tools to recognize

If FunPlus’s co-op verbs ship as written, Horn, Flute, and Come to Me are the named help calls. Steam independently confirms online PvP, online co-op, and cross-platform multiplayer as store categories. How cross-play is enabled per platform is not documented on those pages.

What not to memorize yet

Do not treat unofficial creature indexes, leaked stat sheets, or random social-media “codes” as part of this beginner path. This guide’s codes page records verification status instead of repeating unproven strings.
