Steam storefront date

Steam application 4126040 lists a planned release date of 15 September 2026 and marks the product as coming soon. Steam also names Pawprint Studio as both developer and publisher on that listing. This guide treats the date printed on your storefront as the date to follow.

Regional storefronts and other platforms can print a different calendar day. Recheck Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Epic Games Store, or mobile stores in your account region. This page does not show a universal countdown.

Official news versus storefront copy

On 26 August 2026 the official Aniimo newsroom posted global launch dates of 16 September for PC and consoles and 23 September for mobile. FunPlus’s Gamescom note repeats 16 September for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store, and 23 September for App Store and Google Play. Gematsu’s headline uses 16 September while some of its body copy has described 15 September for PC and consoles. Those discrepancies are why this guide does not collapse every source into one clock.

Platforms named in verified copy

Steam currently lists a Windows PC build only (64-bit). Mac and Linux requirement blocks on the Steam API payload are empty. FunPlus names PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and later mobile stores. Gematsu additionally names the Microsoft Store for PC. Live SKU availability in a given country is not independently confirmed here beyond those texts.

  • PC via Steam (app 4126040) — verified on the Steam listing.
  • Epic Games Store — named by FunPlus and Gematsu; confirm the live store page in your region.
  • PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series — named by FunPlus and Gematsu.
  • iOS and Android — official news: 23 September 2026.
  • Steam server-region labels on the store page: Aniimo-Americas, Aniimo-Europe, Aniimo-Apac. What those labels mean for matchmaking is not explained on the public listing.

Exact unlock hour, preload window, and day-one patch size are not published on the sources used for this page.

Business model on Steam

Steam marks Aniimo free-to-play (`is_free`: true) with in-app purchases, and assigns Action, Adventure, Massively Multiplayer, and RPG among other store genres. That supports a free-to-play action-adventure / MMO / RPG storefront position. Console edition pack prices reported by Gematsu are press figures, not Steam base-game SKUs (Steam lists no paid package group for the game itself).
